Recently refurbished and upgraded to four star English Tourist Board standards, Gill and John run a very high class establishment and is perfect for those wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle to their own country retreat. Visitors will be treated to a breakfast of their choice; much needed after the multitude of outdoor activities available on the doorstep.From short breaks to long stays, Gill and John do their best to cater for individual needs to make each stay unforgettable. Forest View boasts its own private free and secure car park, and is set back from the road.All double and twin rooms offer panoramic river views, so for those who haven't managed the cycling, kayaking, hiking, fishing or climbing, they can still appreciate the famous Three Countries View (Gloucestershire, Herefordshire and Monmouthshire) from the comfort of their room. When the sun has set over the river, Forest View resident's bar is open for drinks to unwind. There is also a tv to catch up with the latest sports, news and soaps!The newly refurbished lounge offers a range of comfy seating, a 42 flatscreen tv with Blu-ray player and surround sound.

Directions

Take theA40 - Road from Ross to Monmouth: Forest View is easily accessed from the A40 midway between Ross and Monmouth. Take the turning sign posted Goodrich and follow the B4229 for 12 mile. Take the right turn onto the B4432 sign posted Symonds Yat East and follow the road over the river. After 12 mile take the right turn marked with the brown information signs to Symonds Yat East. Continue through the hamlet as far as you can drive and Forest View is the large white building on the right. Our car park is accessed by going in to the public car park by the royal lodge and turning sharp left into our private drive.
